Propellercaster

What do you get if you take 2 bolts, a spoon, an aeroplane propeller, a cricket ball, a golf ball an ad for Brasso and some bits of guitar hardware……may I present the mighty Propellercaster!

Propellercaster
Propellercaster (So named by Sue Oldrieve because of the Telecaster style hardware)

What is it?

It’s a slide guitar with electric pick-ups made with half a propeller that my Dad had – no I don’t know what it’s off, but it’s a pusher prop so slightly unusual….there’s some text on the propeller (see pic) which may give a clue, and I do have the other half. If anyone knows I would be very interested (my Dad passed away some time ago).

What about the Cricket ball?

Don’t panic – the cricket ball and the rest of the golf ball are its feet so they’re underneath – click on the other pictures to make them big.
