Ffestiva! brings world music to the National Botanic Garden of Wales
Ffestiva!, now in it’s third year features more excellent new world music from artists based in Wales. I’m not playing, but running a stage with 2 rather exciting acts: Burum an improvising jazz band with Welsh roots and Rogora Khart who play a range of eastern influenced music with theatrical style and punk energy! Here are some links!
There are lots of other things going on too including Samba Galez (a huge community samba band – very loud and colourful!) The Klezmic Rays (my Fiddlebox partner Helen’s other band)
The National Botanic Garden of Wales is a splendid venue in rain or shine – if lovely my stage will be a charming bandstand – in the event of rain I’ll be in the Great Glasshouse with its famous roof!
